African swine fever (ASF) has been detected in Tien Giang Province, southern Vietnam, with outbreaks identified in 53 swine farms since the beginning of the year, Saigon News reported.

As of November 21, data released by the Sub-Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, under the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tien Giang Province, showed that a total of 1,158 swine have been culled, representing 54.4% of the swine population in the region.
