Pig slaughter in Brazil rose 0.5% in Q3 2023

Brazil's pig slaughter totaled 14.60 million head in the third quarter of 2023.

The amount was a year-on-year increase of 0.5% and an increase of 3.7% compared to the second quarter of 2023.

The total weight of carcasses reached 1.37 million tonnes in the third quarter of 2023, a year-on-year increase of 2.4% and an increase of 3.9% compared to the previous quarter.
