China Broiler Weekly: Markets soften on slow chicken demand (week ended Jul 10, 2012)
An eFeedLink Exclusive
Price summary
Prices were lower.

AA broiler
Sales of chicken products fell below expectation, resulting in limited demand for AA broiler. Hence, broiler prices softened lately, after climbing for three consecutive weeks.
Weak trends prevailed in the day-old chick markets, with several hatcheries and breeder farms suffering severe losses.
China breed broiler
Weakened demand dragged down the prices of China breed broiler. However, chick prices strengthened as farmers increased inventories in preparation for pre-National Day demand surge.
Market forecast
Prices of broilers are expected to move lower in the coming week with chicken consumption slow.
