EW GROUP enters exclusive negotiations to acquire Olmix Group

EW GROUP, a global family holding company with more than 300 subsidiaries in the life science sector, has announced the entry into exclusive negotiations for the acquisition of Olmix Group from Amadéite and Motion Equity Partners.

 

Olmix Group, headquartered in Brehan, Brittany, France, specialises in developing, producing and distributing biosourced solutions for livestock and crop farming. The company serves farmers, distributors and agri-supply manufacturers internationally across its finished products and ingredients ranges.

 

Hervé Balusson, founder of Olmix and owner of Amadéite, said the negotiation represented a positive long-term outcome for the Olmix team. "This project would ensure a positive long-term future for the Olmix team and lay the foundation for an excellent outlook for future business development," he said.

 

Patrick Eisenchteter of Motion Equity Partners described the partnership with Olmix management as a successful one. "We are very happy to see that EW GROUP would continue to support that journey," he added.

 

Jan Wesjohann, Managing Director at EW GROUP, said the group intends to keep Olmix operating as a standalone company within the group, alongside EW Nutrition. "We intend to accelerate and support the positive growth path of Olmix," he said.

 

As part of the contemplated transaction, both parties have committed to investing in new technologies, R&D and the expansion of Olmix's international operations. Financial terms were not disclosed.
