Canadian Food Inspection revokes primary HPAI control zone for poultry farm in Amherstburg

The Canadian Food Inspection has revoked the primary highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) control zone for a poultry farm in Amherstburg, the last one in Ontario.

It was declared on February 20 and revoked on April 23.

The four western provinces, Quebec and Nova Scotia are still struggling with the disease in their poultry flocks.
