China Inositol: No signs of recovery (week ended Apr 8, 2024)

Despite staying firm in March, Inositol prices showed signs of weakening of late amid slack demand.

Export prices of inositol softened to US$7.20/kg. Over the past three months, inositol prices have dropped 20%.

In the local market, inositol transact prices slid to the range of RMB51.80-60/kg.

Producers will attempt to hold prices of inositol, which have tumbled 65% on-year.
