New strategic portfolio management director appointed for Royal Agrifirm Group

Dutch agricultural cooperative Royal Agrifirm Group has announced the appointment of Benoit Anquetil as its new strategic portfolio management director (specialties) and BU Director (EMEA).

With over three decades of experience, Anquetil started his journey with the company on February 19. He brings a large amount of expertise and leadership to his new roles.

Anquetil embarked on his professional journey as a formulator at a French feed miller, before transitioning to Provimi/Cargill. There, he held various roles, such as global ruminant marketing strategy director.

In addition to his extensive experience in marketing and portfolio development, Anquetil has demonstrated his leadership skills through various positions, including serving as general manager and later as managing director of Cargill's animal nutrition business in Western Europe.

Jolanda van Haarlem, group director (specialties) and global strategy director at Royal Agrifirm Group, emphasised Anquetil's broad experience and profound understanding of the agricultural sector, particularly within the specialties domain.

Van Haarlem said: "Benoit's appointment underscores our commitment to driving innovation and excellence in our specialties activities. His strategic vision and proven track record will be instrumental in advancing our specialties portfolio to address evolving customer needs."

In addition to overseeing Royal Agrifirm's Strategic Portfolio Management for specialties, Anquetil will take on leadership responsibilities for the group's activities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

"Cultivating strong partnerships with our customers across EMEA is paramount," he said. As BU Director (EMEA), my commitment is to ensure our solutions meet and exceed their evolving needs, fostering mutual growth and success.

"Furthermore, I am thrilled to join Royal Agrifirm Group and contribute to realising its vision of fostering a responsible food chain and make a positive impact for future generations."
