Phytobiotics presents third generation of Sangrovit^®

Phytobiotics Futterzusatzstoffe GmbH has presented the third generation of Sangrovit^®, the most advanced development to date within its successful line of phytogenic feed additives.

With this innovation, the company sets new benchmarks in modern, science-based animal nutrition.

The new Sangrovit^® combines, for the first time, five bioactive alkaloids in a scientifically optimised formulation. A state-of-the-art protective mechanism based on natural, activated waxes reliably safeguards the sensitive active compounds against oxidation and enables their precise and sequential release in the gastrointestinal tract. The result is a new level of stability, efficacy, and bioavailability.

The exclusive alkaloid combination includes the four well-established active compounds sanguinarine, chelerythrine, protopine, and allocryptopine, as well as the newly integrated canadine, which was identified and standardized as part of a novel patent approach. Canadine noticeably expands the physiological mode of action of Sangrovit^® – particularly with regard to stress management, anti-inflammatory properties, and the improvement of carcass quality.

Thanks to the innovative protection concept, the alkaloids remain stable during their passage through the digestive tract and are specifically released in multiple intestinal segments. This results in a measurable improvement in resilience, gut health, and performance under stress conditions.
