Aquaculture UK 2026 to happen on June 16-17 in Glasgow, Scotland, UK

Aquaculture UK 2026 will take place on June 16-17 in Scotland, the United Kingdom.

The event has moved from its long-time home in Aviemore to Glasgow to accommodate an ever-expanding sector and growing demand for exhibition space. At Glasgow's SEC, on the banks of the Clyde, Aquaculture UK will occupy around 10,000 square meters, which offers all the advantages of bespoke modern exhibition facilities.

The biennial show has become the highlight in the aquaculture sector's calendar, providing a platform for all the latest developments in the industry and a hub for reconnecting with friends and making contacts.

This year's edition is expected to attract record crowds from around the world for two days of transformational technology, new products, and business updates. Alongside the main exhibition, there will be a free-to-attend two-day conference and a packed programme in the Innovation Theatre, showcasing the fast pace of change in the sector.

The annual Aquaculture Awards, for which nominations are now open, will be staged in Glasgow's prestigious Hilton Hotel on the night of June 16.

The move to Glasgow creates new opportunities for the sector in Scotland and beyond, with the city's hospitality offering unrivalled scope for bringing people together. Glasgow boasts a wider range of accommodation and improved transport links, making it more accessible for national and international attendees and enabling the continued evolution of the show.

Cheri Arvonio, event director at show organiser Diversified Communications, said: "The countdown to Aquaculture UK has begun and we are looking forward to embarking on the next exciting chapter in the sector's landmark event. Relocating to Glasgow allows us to welcome more participants, provide an even more enriching experience, and build a bigger, better future for this much-loved show."
