Market analysis

As the take up rates and prices of state corn reserves auction remained high, traders held up spot corn prices in anticipation of tight availability.


Corn prices averaged RMB2,124/tonne, increased RMB18/tonne or 0.83% compared with the previous week.


Traders will continue to stand firm on spot corn prices in view of a strong market. Nonetheless, demand for corn will be slow while broiler feed producers tread prudently.
