China Corn: Market stable amid light trade (week ended Feb 19, 2021)

 

Trade was minimal due to the celebration of Chinese New Year. Prices of corn were mainly stable in most regions. 

 

Corn prices averaged RMB2,978/tonne, inched up RMB5/tonne or 0.17% compared with the previous week.

 

Sales of corn will increase in the coming weeks as market participants return from the festive hiatus. Corn prices are seen stable to higher amid tight availability.
