China Corn: Market starts 2021 with new high record (week ended Jan 8, 2021)
As the availability of corn dwindled in China, deep processors eagerly stocked inventories amid concerns of supply shortages after the Chinese New Year holidays. Corn prices started 2021 with a new high record as demand exceeded supply.
Corn prices increased 2.4% compared with the previous week.
Sales of corn are seen robust as buyers eagerly stock supplies. Prices are projected to break new highs in the coming weeks.
